El Corrido: The Two Sides of The Song:
Back in 2009, I single-handedly recorded, edited and produced a documentary as one half of my Masters thesis in Communication Arts. It is not a “slick” production but instead a raw, from the street examination of an iconic story telling communication device that is older than Mexico itself. Producing this was a life changing event.
Since its release, El Corrido has been presented at a number of higher education campuses including Texas Tech and The University of the Incarnate Word. If you are an instructor, please feel free to present this as an integral part of Hispanic Cultural studies.

In the Spring of 2019 I was able to travel to Cape Town, South Africa with a group of teachers from Clarksville Academy in Tennessee. Lauren, my daughter, was one of the teachers. This is a documentation of the experience from the teacher perspective.
It was rewarding experiencing Langa Township as well as breaking away from the group to go exploring with LP. I like her.
